How far in advance should I order a basket?

The sooner the better. I like having time to get all the items you request to be in the basket. I would say anywhere from 2-7 days is ideal.

How long have you been a business?

About 15 months.

Why do you require payment upfront?

Each basket is a unique product based on customer request. I can’t put together a basket without incurring cost. It is not a product I could then sell to someone else.
